I was very sad to read of your passing Paul which came as a great shock. I never knew you well, but through our long association from when we first met when you worked at Hayden Labs you always supported me in my endeavours at SSE, for which I have always been thankful. The last time we spoke I discovered that we are virtually the same age, as we talked about plans for imminent retirement and a new kind of life. I am devastated that you had so little time to explore it. You have left your mark on the industry, and with Sennheiser you combined commercial enterprise with technical excellence whilst making time to support charities and people, notably your support of Caron Keating Trust. But I still wouldn't play your ruddy golf! My sincere condolences to all your family and friends, I know you will leave a big hole in their lives. Rest easy.
